On the way to the bus stop I saw some ivy growing on a tree. Thought it might make a good photo and possibly a good transfer.

The Bright Lights

Just experimenting with the focus on the studio lights and the cars in the peak hour traffic outside the uni.

Different white balance made the first image almost look like honey comb

Waking Up

Again looking at identity in a different way. Investigating an individual's identity when their face is obscured. Also looking at maturity. What makes a person an adult? Possibility of using different object to obscure the person's face but also push the second theme of maturity and 'waking up' from your child-like self.

I'm studying my father's old boot, investigating his identity now that he has changed careers. 

Now the objects of his old job are nothing but objects that serve no purpose.

Again inspiration from the man from uni on Thursday, he did a whole series of photos of just clouds. Tried doing some long exposures of the night sky then made them black and white.

From Under the Oak Trees

An explanation for my blog: Thursday I was inspired! 

At uni, a man came into our lecture and said that we had to be taking photos everywhere! 

Got me really excited to take more photos, so I thought I should create a blog where I produce the photo's I've taken that day. The name is inspired from a park that has a few oak trees. 

I took a lot of my VCE photos there as you can see.
